For the record, Mukahi, this is not something I've pondered extensively. I'd almost forgotten I'd ever made a note of it, actually.

Considering your rather ... strenuous activities off the courts, how precisely, is it that you do not have greater stamina on them? I've never noticed that you recharge so well or so quickly as Eiji, once tired, and while your acrobatics do require more endurance to keep up than most styles of play, that shouldn't be significant enough leave you as easily exhausted as you often become during a one-set match.

Kai-kun, Hirakoba-kun, it appears I should have directed my earlier question to you. Concerning Chinen-kun's ... unique style of hair, is it coloured, or piebaldism?

[ooc: Uhm. IN CASE IT WASN'T OBVIOUS. These posts are totally up for hijacking. Seriously. DOESN'T ANYONE WANT TO CRACK A JOKE ABOUT THE PIEBALDISM??? OR INUI'S SUDDEN OBSESSION WITH CHINEN? D:]

Chinen-kun, do you colour your hair, or merely suffer from piebaldism?

Didn't you say something about him going willingly? That message he managed to shoot off didn't sound very willing - it did, however, sound rather panicked and desperate. If you hurt him

Forget the book; I doubt you'd be able to decipher it in any case. Why don't you stop by this evening. I find I have plenty to say to you, and I'd rather say it to your face, with perhaps a generous dose of Krav Maga.

I almost think Kaidoh-san had me in mind when she took this picture. In any case, Obon last night was quite an experience. I'm looking forward to next year's festival already, though, perhaps without the goldfish. I'm not quite certain what to do with mine as it is.

I'm going to have to find out how she took this. )

[EDIT] For those of you who've been following the Olympics, what do you think about the recent news regarding China's Deng Linlin? The article that stated her age is missing now, but there is little doubt she really is only twelve.

I still have to call Minakawa-senpai at some point, for his list of acceptable activities, but as that's rather low on my list of priorities at the moment, have a meme.

Who Should Paint You: Andy Warhol

You've got an interesting edge that would be reflected in any portrait

You don't need any fancy paint techniques to stand out from the crowd!

I have a link, somewhere, for my Arashi match, courtesy of Miura-chan. Not that I have the slightest intention of sharing it.

I tried spending a portion of the morning practicing English, and found this in one of the supplementary texts Anderson-sensei recommended.

The beginning of eternity
The end of time and space
The beginning of every end
And the end of every place

It is simple, but I think translating it was good practice.

Sengoku-kun, thank you for the matches. I hadn't had a chance to update your statistics in quite some time ... Thursday was both enjoyable and informative.

I'd forgotten about the cd my mother gave me when I visited, but Kaidoh found it in my room yesterday, and insisted we listen to it.

We Can't Stop Smoking in the Vicious and Blue Summer

It's been a while since I had the time to actively search out new artists, and I'm going to have to thank my mother for giving me this. If anyone else has heard of My Little Airport, can you tell me if Zoo is Sad, People are Cruel is worth picking up?

Tezuka, Yukimura-kun, you are both good with plants. When would you say is the best time to start preparing a small plot for an herb garden? Kaidoh-san asked me to help her outside a little today, and she thinks it would be interesting to try. I'm considering medicinal herbs in particular ... If anyone has any tips or suggestions, I would be most interested to know.

Has anyone else realised that the Newcomer's Tournament is less than a week away? I haven't played in a tournament in too long ... I look forward to seeing everyone in the first round of matches.

Kaoru, I can't remember why I didn't stay with you, but I've missed the last train somehow. Can I ask you to let your mother know I'm fine? I'd rather she not worry, and I should make it back by breakfast. I would have e-mailed you, but I opened this up instead, and the private message function is just as convenient.

I do know where I am, but I'm not sure how I got here. I'm just outside that shrine I told you about yesterday, the one my parents used to visit. It's quiet - though I'm sure much of that has to do with the fact that it's now two thirty-seven in the morning. I think you'll like it, even if you are simply humouring me by coming. (The next most likely option is that you weren't paying attention when I asked, but I don't think I was paying enough attention when I asked to factor things through completely. You can be very distracting.) I don' remember ever seeing more than maybe two or three people here, though. That probably has something to do with the quiet, too.

I almost told you I love you this morning. You looked at me funny, when I didn't say anything, but that's why. Of course, I can't. Or rather, I don't. It's one of the two, because I'm only sixteen and you're fifteen - i would be silly to think that I understand love after less than four months. Besides, 'love' is really nothing more than a series of chemical reactions that could be triggered by anyone - not that different from the mild euphoria brought about by exercise, or the lack of inhibitions associated with the consumption of alcohol. Actually, if I hadn't been careful to stay away from the punch, I'm nearly certain I would consider myself inebriated. I don't know from experience, about being drunk, that is, but I'm not usually quite so ... I don't know.

Perhaps I am coming down with the flu. The symptoms are remarkably similar, purportedly, to those of 'love,' which is rather amusing. I hope no, though; I've enjoyed being able to sleep with you, and if I'm getting sick, that will have to stop. Even if it is a bit awkward, waking up at four to make sure we're both in our own rooms before your family wakes, I don't want to stop. Is it possible to become addicted to a person? That makes much more sense than love. I think I might be addicted to you, if so. Unless they're the same thing? I'm not thinking clearly enough; it isn't love, don't worry. Renji would be able to tell me, but I'm not certain that is something I can just ask.

I'm going to call a cab now. My phone can't hold much more, and my leg has just fallen asleep. I don't think I'll be able to, so maybe I'll start on the new trai

Hong Kong was ... interesting. I'm afraid I didn't see much aside from my parents' apartment. My mother seems happier, somehow, than she did in Tokyo; I am fairly certain her private tutoring sessions are mainly responsible for that. Thankfully, there was little trouble at school, regarding the classes I missed yesterday.

What's this I hear about a dance being thrown?

Tolerant and elitist, as well as a pessimistic idealist. Add to that my score as both a rebel, and conservative, and apparently I am a study in contrast ... or this quiz manages to be less accurate than one based on my chocolate preferences.

How much notice would one expect before a weekend trip? I leave for Hong Kong Friday evening, and I am ... not as enthusiastic about this as I would have expected. The fact that I am somewhat irritated with my parents indicates something significant, I'm sure, but I don't care to discern just what.

I don't have more than ten minutes left before my stop, but updating this is preferable to talking with the woman next to me. There are times when looking considerably older is not helpful, and this ride might just top that list.

Minakawa's session today was even more ridiculous than usual; thankfully, Minakawa-senpai interrupted it midway through her explanation of Gakuen Heaven's Musical, and why she's desperate for a ticket. We spent the last hour in the kitchen, discussing several articles Ishida-sensei shared with the club yesterday.

Has anyone else seen Iljimae? My mother recommended it, but I haven't had a chance to look for it yet.

[EDIT] Kaidoh-san seemed quite amused by this, though I'm not certain how accurate I find the results.
